I also handpicked some apple based products myself from Alko's shelves. The following will also be available for tasting in the party.

Player of Games

Some board games will be also available at the party if some are interested to play. At least Carcassone and Huojuva Torni will be there from Karri and Sirpa. Feel free to bring your own, if interested in trying to get players to join.

The brew is strong with this one

This very limited nano-brewery party beer, which you have probably never have heard of, has matured to the point of product release. The beer is named Fourecks according to some very obvious and some other not so obvious references. I dare you to find and analyse all fantasy, sci-fi and Karri references hidden in the bottle label. It might even be a pub quiz question if there's a pub quiz at the party and there might be one.

The beer is an Imperial India Pale Ale (IPA) brewed by Hoppit Brewing using Sahtimallas and Crystal 150 malts and Glacier, Nugget, Amarillo and Citra hops and Safale US-05 yeast. It's dry hopped with Citra for additional hoppy taste and bouquet.

The taste of Fourecks Imperial IPA is strong (ABV ~8.4%), bitter (IBU 120) and treacherous just like the Galactic Empire. Be careful with it. :)

To save costs a middle-aged engineer from Hervanta designed and drew the bottle label.

Thoughts for Food

The food concept for the party is thought to somewhat follow the field-tested model of Modeemi's chili party.

The executive summary of the concept is to have a nice free-form sauna evening with good food and drink to share.

I was asked about birthday wishes two times today, but I do not really have ones. Sirpa already volunteered to help me with the birthday organisation like some of the food, non-alcoholic drinks etc., so helping with the party is always an option. The eccentric brewmaster from Tohloppi designed and brewed a beer for the party.

If you have a great idea yourself or together with friends for a birthday present, go ahead with it. If you don't, that's ok. And if you want anyway to give something, my party/travel account in S-pankki ( FI80 3939 0031 1006 70 ) is happy to accept contributions.

There will be beer...

For XXXX party there will be a special very limited edition party beer. The beer is designed and brewed by an eccentric brewmaster in his nanobrewery in Tohloppi, Tampere, Finland. Some say that his brewery is named after the hairs in his feet or his springing steps. All we know is, that this beer is guaranteed to be one your hipster friends have not tasted before.

In addition to this special brew there will be also 36 bottles of 6 different European beers available to be at the party. It is also very likely that there will be also some wine and cider available, but in case you want to play it safe, feel free to bring your own bottles for yourself or to share with others at the party.
